Stitching at Crafty Catz

Morning friends in blog land.... Hope everyone is not too snowed in, we don't have much snow...thankfully just  very cold.

Now today's card is for the New challenge starting today at CRAFTY CATZ.

Teddy time at Crafty catz

It's nearly the weekend....whooooo

that also means a new challenge begins at CRAFTY CATZ 

and today its

"Oh My.... Teddies"

We got to play with some fab images from our sponsor this week which is 

I have emossed my Kraft card and used a spellbinders die to cut out this fab shape which i have added my topper too.

Die cut used for the stars explosion 

used the same chameleon  pen to colour the whole image with, still finding my feet with these, practice makes perfect they say..lol  so more practice.

Balsa Box

Saw this Balsa box over on a a teamie's blog from Crafty Ribbons.... Cebelica   there's also a tutorial HERE from SA Crafters.
 Loved the idea so had a go myself and it fitted perfectly with this fortnights challenge of ANYTHING BUT A CARD at Crafty Ribbons challenge blog  so  this was the outcome...even saw a you tube on the butterflies made out of prima flowers while i was there so had a go at them also..tehe, didnt get anything done the day i made these apart from hang washing out!!

I used papers which already look a bit destessed , but mattered onto card and added distress ink to edges. Box was made out of old packaging from Christmas (yeah still had some around)  it does need to be a thicker kind as tried with thinner card from another box and could not get it to stick very good! 

added a double sided die cut stencil then covered in glitter

Flowers from stash, black butterflies are the prima flowers, add glossy accents to these to add the shine.

Used cosmic shimmer for the pink pearls effect

the pink ribbon round the bottom is wire edge ribbon from Crafty Ribbons

added four round feet on the very bottom which were just old buttons.

another button for the front to fasten with and a a tassle for decoration...

see thats why it took me all day...lol

Hello i had a little play with some of the gorgeous wedding ribbons from CRAFTY RIBBONS and this is what i decided to do with them

using wedding owl ribbons which include With love...Happy Anniversary ...Believe...Dreams really do come true.  Everything  and there's lots more, these are also available in cream 

also used Pink cotton ribbon

these are just perfect for adding any sentiment to your card. I especially like

With you I'm something

Together we are EVERYTHING!!

Thought this would make a lovely Anniversary card...

Used spellbinders heart die to cut our shape on main card then used cut out and layered on to silver mirror card. added pink pearl doodles in corners

New Home

Hi again, well you know what today is, yep FRIDAY  so that means new challenge day at

 CRAFTY CATZ...yeah

well today the challenge is NEW BEGINNINGS

So new home, new baby, new job etc 

I have gone with New Home and these quick and fab little toppers are just perfect for a quick card.

The backing card is from a Crafters companion card pack.

The ribbon is a Bias Binding which is available from Crafty Ribbons...its very pretty don't you think?

Hey Happy Friday....

its nice to get back into the daily routine don't you think, back to work this week well Wednesday  actually..lol so only half a week done..

My card is really simple, used a new die which i bought a few months back but never got round to using it until today, embossed the backing card added the lovely soft ribbon

Sentimental time

Hello well its our first challenge in the new year over at CRAFTY RIBBONS and the theme is
Lets get sentimental 
Its the Button team this week to share their creations but we are down a few team members so i thought i would add to the mix, it was made very last minute so its just a quick card.
