SummerTime at Craftycatz

Hello.... wow where has all our sun gone!!

Well we have a Summer Time challenge chosen by Dianne this week over at CraftyCatz, so why not join in and brighten your day with your summer time card.

I have made an Easel card for the challenge this week, used summer papers which were free in the papercraft mag. The colours i chose to go with Stamptacular Sunday as it is your fav ice cream colours, my is mint,strawberry and vanilla...Mmmm delicious, added some Butterfly and flower stickers which i added to card before adding them to my project. one butterfly is on acetate. Sorry not sure of image but in makes me think of summer with all the flowers in his wheelbarrow.

Nappy time!! Craftycatz challenge 41

Hiya... Well it is time for another challenge as it's Friday and at Craftycatz we have a really great challenge this week which will give you loads of scope..."Anything but a card" The DT have Lot's of different ideas for you so don't forget to pop over and have a peek.

My little contribution is a Nappy Cake...

Not done one of these before but i really enjoyed doing this, loved shopping for the baby clothes.

It includes.....

50 nappies, 2 baby grows, 2 vests, 1 blanket, 4 pairs of socks, 6 face clothes, Booties, bath therm, rattle & teether, talc, baby bath ,3 bottles and bay brush and comb set. OH and cuddly penguin as mam and dad love penguins!!

Sketch this week at Craftycatz

Hello sorry about my post been a little later than normal...But Blogger has been causing me a lot of problems....been unable to post all week,any one else having problems with posting. i have had to go back to the old one, if that makes any sense!!

This card is for CraftyCatz DT card, we have a fab sketch to follow which was designed by Trish this week.

I have used the image from Bugaboo digi stamps these are fantastic..they are so funny, for many occasions. This card is for a work friend who is a nurse so it fit's perfectly!!

The swirls are a sizzix die and the papers are from papermania stack.

Crafty Catz DT card-- Distressing

Good Morning crafters, well what a lovely week i have had as i have been off work on a weeks hols..spent a couple of days in york, the sun was shining and so busy! but gorgeous.

Hope everyone enjoyed our challenge last week. I think you must have as we have had the most entries ever!! so thanks for joining in. Digi stamps are so popular. 

Our challenge this week over at Craftycatz is Suzie's choice, distressing. Not my fav to been honest but managed to tear and distress my papers which i find a hard task..lol.

I used a PB image and the papers are from papermania.

I used Tim Holt's distressing inks for the edges also popped the pink paper through the cuttlebug with the dots embossing folder,inked the  flowers too.
